Father of love, we love because you first loved us. How great is the love you have lavished on us, that we should be called children of God? We know what love is, because Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. Jesus said, there is no greater love than that a man would lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Help us to obey your Word, so Your love is made complete in us. Word of life, You make our joy complete. Guide us to walk in the light, as You are in the light, lead us to fellowship with one another, through Your Love. The blood you so willingly gave, purifies us from all sin. Anyone who does not love remains in death, help us to love our brothers and sisters and live in the light. Strengthen us to practice righteousness, for we know You hear us if we ask according to Your will. Protect us from the deceiver who would have us give into the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. Forgive us our failures and accept our gratitude for the blessings, seen and unseen, that You continually pour upon us, until we see the face of our risen Lord. Christ has risen indeed! Thanks be to God.
