There’s a renewed effort to promote atheism. People are investing advertising space (large outdoor billboards) in order to try to convince people that there’s no god. Or, as some say, they are really intended to comfort atheists. Atheists make up less than 10% of America’s population (which, after all is the smallest percentage among civilized nations).
Recent news articles are explaining (?promoting) the campaign. Some claim that atheists are “lonely” around Christmas so these signs should remind them that they are not alone. [For an example go to http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=66323]
For many non-believers the biggest problem with Christianity is its people. Some Christians live with such hate or prejudice or have self-centered life-styles, that their “walk” speaks louder than their “talk.”
Here’s a thought for ya: is your life a billboard that says “there really isn’t any god out there”?
